R.T. Gilman receives ISO-9001 quality certification
GRAFTON, WI: Certification to ISO-9001 international quality standards
was awarded to R.T. Gilman on February 18, 1997. The
ISO standards published by the Swiss-based International Organization
for Standardization, were established to document the elements
of a quality system to promote common standards worldwide.
Of the five ISO-9000 standards, ISO-9001 is the most comprehensive
and difficult to attain, and it encompasses product design, manufacturing,
installation and service functions. R.T. Gilman's certification was
granted by A.G.A. Quality (Cleveland, Ohio), an ISO auditing organization
accredited by ANSI-RAB and the Dutch Council for Accreditation.
Since its inception in 1952, R.T. Gilman has specialized
in design and manufacturing of machine tool components of exceptional
quality, reliability and performance. Today the company is a leading
