SKF Precision Technologies introduces new NEXTDAY™ dovetail
slides that are shipped within one business day of placing your
order.
SKF Precision Technologies' NEXTDAY dovetail slides are lead screw with hand crank
driven and are ideal for heavy load industrial applications. They
are offered in widths from 4 to 10 inches and in lengths to 36
inches. SKF Precision Technologies NEXTDAY dovetail slide tolerances are: Overall
height +/- .005 in., Vertical tracking = .001 in., Horizontal
tracking = .001 in., and Saddle to base parallelism = .0005 in.
This heavy duty, precision ground slide is easy to re-configure
as single axis, compound axis or 3-axis stack-up. Assemble compound
axes by using the pre-drilled holes on the base, saddle or angle
bracket. Individual slides can be configured as right-hand or
left-hand gib in relation to the lead-screw drive handle.
The complete application package includes:
- "zero reset dial" adjustable .001" micrometer
dial and locking thumb screw to adjust the zero setting
- left-hand/right-hand adjustable anti-backlash drive block
and take-up nut
- alternate drive position
