new, faster, on-line quoting capabilities.
Now R.T. Gilman's sales representatives have a direct connection to
the company's pricing computer 24 hours a day. This "extranet"
capability allows the local representatives to issue official,
written quotations from their offices directly to the customers
which substantially minimizes response time. Accuracy is enhanced,
because communication is directly between the local R.T. Gilman representative
and the customer. This new, faster, on-line quoting capability
is only one example of R.T. Gilman's continuing commitment
to be as customer focused and customer responsive as technology
will permit.
On-line quoting is available for all standard and many near-standard
slides and spindles, including catalog 606 cartridge and block
spindles, catalog 400 dovetail slides, and catalog 707 hardened
steel way slides.
