RELEASE SKF USA Inc., a unit of SKF
USA Inc., has acquired the assets of Twentieth Century Machine
Co. and is integrating its line of ground ball screws with SKFs
full line of ground ball screws, rolled ball screws and planetary/roller
screws. The new company, TCM, a unit of SKF USA Inc. headquartered
in Detroit, is now ISO 9001-2000 certified and has provided
precision machine tool parts for over 50 years at this location.
TCM will strengthen the SKF Linear
Motion & Precision Technologies business unit, says
Christer Gyberg, president of the SKF Industrial Division. In
addition to design and manufacturing expertise, TCM also offers
multibrand ball screw repair.
TCMs complete ball screw repair facilities
offer: repairs on all makes and models; reverse engineering;
free inspection and analysis; end journal repair and machining;
as well as an extensive inventory of replacement ball nuts.
Other services like emergency service and on-site repairs are
available upon request.
